Japanese Spiced Sweet Potato Fries | Healthy Nibbles and Bits

Tasty sweet potato fries with Japanese seasonings.


  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 TBS olive oil
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 TBS furikake (Japanese rice seasoning)
  • 1/2 tsp shichimi togarashi (Japanese hot pepper mix)


  1. Preheat oven to 375ยบ F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the sliced sweet potatoes, olive oil, and salt together.
  3. Bake the fries for about 25-30 minutes.
  4. Remove the fries from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle the furikake and shichimi togarashi on top of the fries.
  5. Enjoy!
